Medical care for children

Observations

Children are regularly sick, and some need special care (e.g. glasses). However, medical care cannot always be covered. Children placed at the orphanage through social services are dependent on this institution for medical care. However, as the social services are not reactive, it is very difficult to have a child hospitalized when they need it, due to a lack of means to advance the costs. This can be very serious.

Benefits of the project

Creating a financial envelope would enable children to be treated immediately, without waiting for social services. The envelope should cover medical consultations, transport (as we don't have a car), as well as the purchase of medicines. We anticipate a budget of 3,500 € (2,300,000 FCFA) for approximately thirty children.
