Observations

Electricity distribution is unpredictable. The town of Soa does not have continuous access to electricity. It is very common for electricity to be cut off for the whole day and only come back in the evening. However, when the electricity doesn't come back in the evening, the children can't work on their homework in good conditions, because there is no electricity.

We took action

The kitchen and refectory building is now energy self-sufficient. Lighting is guaranteed during frequent power cuts, and electrical appliances can be used at any time.
