Currently, children's meals are not much diverse, consisting mainly of starchy foods. Nutrition is one of the pillars of good health, especially for young people who are still growing. We would therefore like to diversify their diet by adding vegetables and proteins. To limit the foundation's expenses and ensure good, sustainable nutrition, we are thinking of setting up a vegetable garden and a chicken coop.
This project is also of educational interest, teaching children how to care for animals, cultivate the land and introduce them to new vegetables. It also helps to recycle food waste.
The vegetable garden project is being carried by a close friend of the foundation, a farmer who has already purchased seeds and plans to share his knowledge with the children in the summer of 2025.
The henhouse project is still at the design stage: we want to buy 100 laying hens and build a solid henhouse.
