Washing clothes is a difficult task. Children regularly fetch water and wash clothes by hand, using basins, soap, and brushes. They perform this task in uncomfortable positions, standing, bending over, and squatting. They dry the clothes on lines outside. When it rains and in the evening, they have to take the clothes down and hang them back up when the weather improves or the next day. This task is therefore time-consuming, as well as difficult.

To improve the children's daily lives and reduce the difficulty of this task, we would like to build a room dedicated to washing clothes, including several washing machines and an indoor space for drying clothes.
