Since their arrival in early January 2025, Arthur and Christina have been busy reorganizing the library.
"This project is very close to our hearts. For us, it's essential to make this place attractive, so that people of all ages want to visit it and discover the desire to cultivate themselves, to learn more about a subject or simply to relax by reading the lines of a story. In this, we echo the ideas of Joseph and Marie Madeleine ZINGUI, for whom books are an indispensable companion in the world of knowledge." – Arthur and Christina
At first, the books were scattered across several rooms and misplaced. Then came the hard work: after emptying and moving the shelves, Arthur and Christina sorted all the books into categories, and put them away in the new library.

The books are now all housed in a single, larger room. There is something for everyone: illustrated books for children and adults, fiction novels (romance, SF, historical, adventure, etc.), English-language books, textbooks, cultural books (geography), leisure books and magazines. The library is open to children and adults from the foundation, who can consult the books on site. For children, we offer to keep the books of their choice and lend them to them during study time, when they have finished their homework.
This re-organization of the library has freed up two rooms : a new office (used by Foundation staff) and a computer room.
In parallel with this project, we have created a reading room, located right next to the library. This room allows readers to read in peace and quiet. We also plan to organize reading and writing workshops for children.

Thanks to various donations from our friends, we have a large collection of books... so large that there aren't enough shelves! There are still some English-language textbooks that couldn't be stored in the library. In the future, we'd like to add shelves and/or hire a carpenter to build custom-made furniture to accommodate all the books.
